Lessons from 1929
They say history repeats itself. Like a wave, it repeats itself again and again albeit with different characters. 1929 was well known for its crash, yet we saw crashes after crashes after that. Easy credit was one of the root cause that caused Wall St to soar to stratospheric heights, when eveyone from barber to shoe shines were talking about the market. Stock prices were moving like they have their own lives. And we saw that happened in KLSE '93. Soros well known for its speculative activities, in 1929 there were speculators too.
